Professional Triathlete Sports Photography Photoshoot

In October, I was invited out to Spain to create content for a long term client of mine, Harry Palmer. Harry is a professional triathlete with a number of sponsors and I greatly appreciate the support he gives me as a content creator. Whilst out in Majorca, we decided to go out on an evenings photoshoot and grab some awesome sports photography shots for both his own social media platforms and his sponsors.

The location of choice was the iconic ‘Cap de Formentor’, which is situated at the very North East tip of Majorca. It is essentially a lighthouse with twisting roads leading to it, and it sticks out like a sore thumb to the sun and it’s surroundings. This makes it an ideal location for photographing at, as it is well lit and has a varying number of compositions due to the road layouts.

As we were based in Peguera (down in the South West of the island), we had a decent drive to get to Formentor, the nearest town. Once arrived, we both jumped on our bikes and head towards the lighthouse. Whilst out on the bikes and throughout the evening, we both recorded a YouTube video. Both videos were geared towards a behind the scenes (BTS) look into a photoshoot from the perspective of both a photographer and an athlete.

Despite every man and his dog wanting to be up Cap de Formentor at the same time as us, for sunset, we still hit a lot of fantastic landscape and product based photographs, and still made it back to the car before it got dark. I have linked a few photographs from the photoshoot below.
